ITINERARY
We start the morning at a charming little bakery tucked away from the busy streets, where the smell of butter, warm pastry and sugar reaches you before stepping inside.

After indulging in a lovely Danish pastry we make our way into the heart of the city's food scene. A bustling gourmet market where locals grab a quick lunch on their break or pick up the finest ingredients for a dinner party.

As we explore the city we venture off the beaten path, down smaller charming streets that most tourists never find. Along the way I will share the stories behind some of Copenhagen's most iconic sights.

We stop at a few hidden gems along the way, including a fifth generation family business that has been crafting their product entirely by hand using the exact same technique since they first opened their doors in 1891.

Around halfway through we give our legs a well deserved rest and step inside a stunning heritage protected building right next to the colourful canal of Nyhavn. Here you will sit down for a traditional Danish lunch and enjoy smørrebrød, the iconic open faced sandwich, paired with a cold Danish beer and something slightly stronger to wash it all down.

The tour wraps up at the city's iconic food market, just five minutes from where we started. Hopefully by then you will have fallen a little in love with Copenhagen through its food, its drinks and the stories behind them.

“As a solo traveller this was a lovely experience. It made my trip really special. I got to meet some lovely people, taste some amazing Danish food and see some well-known sights in Copenhagen. I’ve learnt a lot about Copenhagen and Danish culture. Sophie was so lovely, passionate and informative. She made the day very enjoyable. There was lots of time to ask questions and it felt really intimate as it was a small group of 6. Definitely worth the experience.”
“Sofie was the best tour guide. The tour was amazing we got to so see so much of local Copenhagen. And lots of great food. I would definitely recommend. If you are ever in Copenhagen start your trip with Sofie's food tour.”

About me
Hi, my name is Sofie and I am born and raised in the lovely city of Copenhagen.

After working the last 4 years at top-rated hotels in the heart of the city I have gained extensive knowledge of the city's food scene and want to share that with you.
I love food, travel and meeting new people, and have spent years exploring local cultures through food tours whenever I travel. Now I want to share that same joy and curiosity with visitors and show them the city I love through its food.
